I want to thank everyone for the support. Thankfully the mill levy PASSED! The Sheriffs Office can continue to serve the citizens of Broadwater County.

Today is the day. Ballots are due by 8pm. If you haven’t turned your ballot in make sure you take it to the court house and get it turned in. The Sheriffs Office appreciates all the support. Please vote VES! For the mill levy!

Ballots are due on Tuesday at 8pm. If you haven’t mailed your ballot in, you can drop it off at the Court House. If you mail it tomorrow it might not make it in time! Vote YES! For the Sheriffs Office mill levy!

There has been more confusion with the ballots. A judge extended the deadline. Today the Supreme Court made a decision that ALL BALLOTS have to be in by 8PM JUNE 2nd. Once again if you haven’t received a ballot and your a registered voter in Broadwater County please contact the court house and speak with Doug Ellis. Remember vote YES! The Montana Supreme Court on Wednesday said the deadline for receiving mailed, absentee ballots in Montana’s primary election will remain at 8 p.m. Election Day, next Tuesday – thus blocking a district judge’s order that said the ballots need only be postmarked by Tuesday.

10 more days and the ballots are due. Please make sure all ballots are in by June 2nd. Once again if you have not received a ballot please contact Doug Ellis at the court house. And remember please vote YES on the mill levy!

I know there has been a lot of concern about the mail out ballots. If you did not receive one and you are a registered voter in Broadwater County please contact the court house and speak with Doug Ellis. If you are not a registered voter yet please register and vote. And please vote FOR the mill levy.
