The Hamilton Community Chest (HCC) is a 501C3 charitable organization that provides much needed funds to area nonprofits serving the Greater Hamilton, NY area. The efforts of the HCC is 100% volunteer driven.

Throw Back Thursday to that time when Colgate had a snow carnival in Hamilton and the students would build giant snow sculptures all along Broad St. The Hamilton Community Chest remembers many of those snow carnivals. We were here, serving the community since 1928! That's nearly 100 years (96 if you're counting) that we have been raising money to help support local organizations. Back in 1928 when the Hamilton Community Chest began, winters were colder and snowier, roads were not cleared as efficiently and people could ski right down the road into town. Driving was not as easy. These days driving is easy, and donating is easy too!
