It's that time of year again! 🎄

The Interfaith Holiday Project annually supports more than 110 families and resident homes in the Hamilton and Madison area, and has given hundreds of children a special holiday.

This year, the goal remains the same: to help as many families as possible to have a happy holiday season through gifts of new clothes, shoes, boots, hats, mittens, toys, and food baskets for a holiday meal and staples to go beyond.

The Interfaith Holiday Project will provide gifts for each child, a donation of a ham for a family, and hats & mittens/gloves or personal care items. They will also be providing food baskets to the elderly.

Donations of LEGO sets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes would be greatly appreciated. Donations must be received by Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Looking for another way to help? Join the Shopping Day at the Oneida Walmart (2024 Genesee St, Oneida, NY 13421)! Look for the volunteers in the garden center at 12pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

You can also help wrap presents on Community Wrapping Days at the First Baptist Church (27 Broad Street, Hamilton, NY)! On Tuesday and Wednesday, December 12 -13 from 10 am till 4 pm, all are welcome to attend this festive event and donate your gift-wrapping time and talent! Head over to the Walmart in Oneida and meet us in the garden center. If you don't see anyone in the garden center handing out lists, go on over to the photo center and we will be there!

The Interfaith Holiday Project annually supports more than 110 families and resident homes, and has given hundreds of children a special holiday.

This year, we anticipate the number of needy families to increase significantly. Our goal remains the same: to help as many families as we can have a happy holiday season through gifts of new clothes, shoes, boots, hats, mittens, toys, and food baskets for a holiday meal and staples to go beyond.

We're asking specifically for donations of toiletries (soap, deodorant, lip balm, toothbrushes etc). We are also looking for Lego donations. Last year this was the most asked for toy and we'd love to give as many Lego sets as we can.

You can also make a monetary donation. All donations can be sent to Interfaith Holiday Project, P. O. Box 134, Hamilton, NY 13346. All donations are tax deductible. Your contribution makes it possible for this work to continue, and because we are all volunteers, every penny goes directly to the families in need.

Colgate Athletics supports Interfaith Holiday Project by welcoming donations at our upcoming basketball and hockey games.

The project annually supports the community by providing holiday gifts and food to local families in need.
