St. Louis OCD Support & Resources

Since September 19, 2009, our support group meetings have been held at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at 3015 North Ballas Road, in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Our meetings are held the third Saturday of every month and are free of charge. We welcome sufferers of OCD, family members and friends, as well as college students and others who want to learn more about this disorder. Meetings generally focus on personal experiences, coping mechanisms and treatment options. ALL INFORMATION, INCLUDING IDENTITIES AND PERSONAL DETAILS , IS KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. Meetings begin at 10 a.m. From 10 to 11 a.m., a guest speaker makes a presentation dealing with one of the various aspects of OCD and takes questions. Our guest speakers are qualified professionals in the field, active in the treatment of OCD, or personnel from other support groups or organizations. After a brief break for refreshments, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we have our support group session. This is an informal open discussion, lead by mentors of the group. We discuss the speaker's topic, answer related questions and share experiences.
