Wellness took an educational tour to the Bradford County 911 Emergency Center to increase awareness of community resources and learned about environmental safety measures utilized when responding to various types of emergencies. The group learned about emergency broadcast networks and how to locate important information when dealing with an emergency within their community. This activity promoted community awareness, emergency preparedness, safety knowledge, problem-solving skills, and increased understanding of local resources available during times of crisis. We want to thank the Emergency Center for taking time to give us this informational tour, we appreciated your time!

🎨🖌️ Painting with the Masters at The Wellness Center! 🖌️🎨

Creativity, learning, and wellness came together during our "Painting with the Masters" session! Consumers had the wonderful opportunity to meet local artist Dolores Pacifico, who shared her inspiring art career, discussed how to become an artist, and painted alongside everyone.

Participants also explored the lives and artistic styles of some of history's greatest masters, including Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Katsushika Hokusai, and Pablo Picasso. Learning about these influential artists sparked conversations about creativity, perseverance, and the connection between art and mental health.

Art provides a healthy outlet for self-expression, reduces stress, builds confidence, and encourages mindfulness. Through painting and community engagement, our consumers discovered that there is no "right" way to create—only the courage to express themselves.

A special thank you to Dolores Pacifico for sharing her talent, knowledge, and passion with us. It was a day filled with inspiration, creativity, and wellness! 💙🎨✨

The Wellness Center had an exciting opportunity to visit the Wiggle 100 Radio Station in Troy! 📻🎶

During our visit, consumers learned about the rich history of the radio station and got a behind-the-scenes look at how it operates. We toured the production room, discovered how advertising helps keep local radio thriving, and explored the important role that music plays in connecting communities.

Experiences like these encourage learning, community engagement, and career exploration while building confidence and curiosity about the many opportunities available in our area.

A big thank you to the staff at Wiggle 100, Shane and Kristie from the Wake Up Crew for welcoming us, sharing their knowledge, and giving our consumers an unforgettable educational experience! We appreciate your time and hospitality! 🎙️💙
