We love our volunteers!! Thank you for being awesome Linda!

It's time for our Pennsylvania 4-H Volunteer Spotlight! Each week, Pennsylvania 4-H highlights volunteers who are doing great work around the state.

Today, we are celebrating Linda Elsbree of Bradford County! She has been a volunteer for 24 years.

Linda is a long time 4-H Volunteer and organizational leader of the Navigators 4-H Club. Linda plans exciting hands on activities for her club members and partners with community organizations to give her members high quality educational experiences. Linda is also our county rabbit expert, serving as superintendent of the 4-H breeding and market rabbit shows at our fair.

Her nominator says, "Linda has been an incredible resources for new members getting started in the rabbit program, from getting them a starter bunny to tattooing to leading clinics and practice shows."

Linda has also spent many years organizing the Bradford County 4-H Horse Program and teaching Embryology in the classroom. In addition, she has spent time serving on the Bradford County 4-H Program Development Committee and helping at county events and fundraisers!

We finished out Day Camps yesterday with Wildlife Day!! We enjoyed fishing, hiking and learning about animal tracks and forestry. We also enjoyed a special presentation by Tanglewood, sponsored by the Friends of Mt. Pisgah!

One more bug thank you to our amazing volunteers that help us make the week possible and Mt. Pisgah for their amazing partnership!

Day 2, Expressive Arts Day! We sewed bags, cupcake decorating and tasting, made sand art and basically visited Mexico for some delicious tacos, home-made in the outdoor pizza oven!!

Another big thank you to all our volunteers and Mt Pisgah State Park for another successful day!
