Good morning! I am looking for a volunteer from the old Andaste District who can help us locate the 2008 Camporee Guide & Patch for the Battle of Elk Lake Camporee. We have a display of over 1500 Civil War BSA themed events at our biannual CMP Camporee here in Alabama.

Great job, Troop 4049 (Troy)! Now that school is out in PA, it looks like you have all been hard at work and hit the ground running, or certainly hiking, at the very least!

We look forward to hearing about more of your accomplishments & adventures this summer.

The scouts have been busy this month!

Last week the troop spent time working on a safety project with the Troy Historical Society as part of the safety merit badge requirements and then weeded their gardens. Last evening, they toured the new Bradford County Public Safety building, did a cookout, and then went fishing for the evening. Many of our scouts are working on the hiking merit badge and have done 3 of the required hikes so far with 5 more to go including 10-, 15- and 20-mile hikes. We are now getting around to going to summer camp in July.

You may also catch us watering the flowers in town for the Garden Club.

Most of our schools have let out for the year and I wanted to take a minute to check in and see how our scouts are doing? If there are any highlights you have regarding your pack/troop or an individual scout, leave us a comment or a new post so we can celebrate those accomplishments!
