A member agency of the United Way 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who We Are: Based in Bradford and Susquehanna Counties, northeast PA, SAFE is a passionate grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 2017. Our mission? To break the cycle of family violence and enhance community health through a spectrum of violence prevention services.

1. 🌟 Supervised Custody Exchanges & Parenting Time: At SAFE, we understand the complexities of familial transitions, especially for children. That's why we offer a comprehensive service for Supervised Custody Exchanges and Parenting Time. Our dedicated team provides a safe and neutral setting for custody exchanges, ensuring a peaceful and supportive environment for children and parents. This service is crucial in minimizing the emotional stress often associated with these transitions, helping children feel secure and cared for. Our supervised parenting time also allows parents to interact with their children in a structured and nurturing space, promoting positive family interactions and emotional bonding.
2. Trauma-Informed Parenting Education: Empowering parents with knowledge and skills for positive family dynamics.
3. Support for Incarcerated Parents: Addressing the impact of trauma on parenting, offering tools for emotional management and effective parenting.

Raising grandchildren comes with its own joys and challenges, and you don't have to navigate it alone. 💛 SAFE's Legacy Support Group is growing! Our Bradford County group is moving to a new schedule: the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, 213 Main St, Towanda. And we're excited to launch a brand new group in Susquehanna County at Blue Ridge School, also meeting the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. Join other grandparents and kinship caregivers for connection and support — we hope to see you there!
