In Torrance, the amount of funding lost if Prop 3 fails is over $48,000,000 (that is the 2024 figure). Stand with public educators and support Proposition 3 to keep money in classrooms!

"Our public schools are already navigating rising costs and uncertainty at the federal level. Adding this type of instability on top of that will only strain our communities, and it would be our students who directly feel that impact," says Carol Peek, President of Ventura Education Support Professionals Association.

Every public school in California would be impacted if Prop 3 fails. Without Prop 3 our schools would face an immediate 15% cut to funding for public schools and community colleges.

"In 2012, our students had endured years of catastrophic budget cuts caused by the recession and learned in classrooms packed tighter than they should ever be. California voters asked the wealthiest 2% to pay a little more to help our schools recover. It worked," says Starr Avila.

Californians, then, voted again to protect this funding that feeds millions of our students and provides healthcare coverage for families through Medi-Cal.
