Irvine Shipping Delays

As many of you are aware, the fires in the Irvine area have impacted our office and warehouse. Fortunately, our teams and the building are all safe, but the warehouse operations have been delayed. We hope to be back to normal operations by tomorrow so the shipping delays should be minimal. The team plans to be fully back to normal operations and caught by Thursday end of day. We will let you know if there are any changes to this status.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Know your history. Study it. Don't let it be repeated.

It was 45 years ago Tuesday when the nation first learned about the horrors of a federally funded experiment on unsuspecting African Americans with syphilis in rural Alabama — a study whose repercussions are still being felt today.

The "white washing" of history is real folks....

At the University of Tennessee, one instructor didn’t seem to have her facts straight and got chin-checked by one of her students. Kayla Renee Parker was taking a quiz given to her by her professor, Judy Morelock, and one of the questions seemed like a slam dunk.

The question asked, “Historical research on African-American families during slavery shows that...” Parker answered “C”: “Black family bonds were destroyed by the abuses of slave owners, who regularly sold off family members to other slave owners.” Seems correct, right?

Kayla Renee Parker was horrified after her future was put in jeopardy by Judy Morelock.

Much More Than Money

Providing adequate financial support plays only a small part in helping disadvantaged students to successfully complete an undergraduate degree,

There is a common expression -- “just throw money at the problem” and it will be fixed. But providing adequate financial support plays only a small part in supporting college students from particular sectors -- underrepresented minorities, those who are first in their families to attend college and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds -- to successfully complete an undergraduate degree.

The case of Knigston Frazier is a tragedy all the way around...

"Father absence is the bane of the black community, predisposing its children to school failure, criminal behavior, and economic hardship, and to an intergenerational repetition of the grim cycle,"
