SPO Visual Diary: Retreat 2026 🌺🩷💚

On September 12, the Sisters of Sigma Pi Omega traded our to-do lists for leis and got to work on what’s next. Between sisterhood, good food, and plenty of laughs, we planned our program year and aligned our chapter’s service with the new 2026–2030 International Program under International President Charletta Wilson Jacks.

This administration’s charge: Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World. With the signature program, AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope, we’re ready to uplift children and families in our community and pour into the targets that matter most, from education and health to economic growth and the arts.

The vision is set. The sisterhood is recharged. Service to All Mankind starts here.✨

Flashback Friday 💚♻️ — Looking back on GREENwell, Sigma Lambda Omega’s award-winning cleanup initiative held in partnership with Heal the Bay for International Coastal Cleanup Day.

Sisters across SoCal and Hawaii came together to clean up local beaches, parks, and waterways — service and sisterhood in action! SPO brought the sisterhood and hands ready to work. Can’t wait to do it again this weekend.

Las Vegas looked beautiful as a Sea of Pink and Green! đź©·đź’š
Sigma Pi Omega proudly hit the floor at the 72nd International Boulé, joining over 27,000 Sisters globally under the theme Soaring Together: Celebrating Our Impact on Service and Sisterhood. It was an incredibly special moment for our Far Western Region as we served as the hostess region! Our members stayed dedicated on the floor, fully engaged in handling the official BUSINESS OF OUR SISTERHOOD.

Impact and Action:
🩷 Community Service: Our chapter members stood alongside thousands to combat food insecurity and support families with infants across Southern Nevada, participating in our historic GUINNESS WORLD RECORD PACK IT UP community service event! 📦🏆

Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF):
đź’š We are thrilled to share that our chapter contributed at the prestigious Gold Level to further our educational advancement initiatives! Additionally, a special congratulations to our amazing chapter member, Daria Ibn-Tamas, who was individually acknowledged for contributing over $1,000! Thank you for your incredible generosity and dedication to excellence.

Hospitality:
đź©· Our chapter volunteers held down the Registration desks, warmly welcoming Sisters arriving from every corner of the world.

The Joy of Sisterhood:
đź’š Lifting our voices with the international choir.
đź©· Shared dinners, endless dancing, and line sisters found again against the backdrop of the Las Vegas Strip.

Service to All Mankind isn’t just a line we recite – it’s exactly what we do wherever we land. More to come! Skee-Wee! 🩷💚✨

On this sacred day, we honor the 16 phenomenal women who founded Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on January 15, 1908 at Howard University. Their vision of service, scholarship, and sisterhood continues to guide us 118 years later.

This past Saturday, our chapter gathered to celebrate their legacy and recommit ourselves to the principles our illustrious Founders established. Through tea, fellowship, sisterhood, and reflection, we remember that we stand on the shoulders of phenomenal and trailblazing women.

Happy Founders’ Day to my sisters near and far. May we continue to be Supreme in Service to All Mankind.💗💚
