Today we officially celebrated the donated sauna at Fire Station LAX 80, made possible by a Rotary District 5280 grant. The sauna is a token of our appreciation for their service during the Pacific Palisades and Eaton fires (and for their continued dedication and service to our communities). Come celebrate with Rotaract Club of South Bay as we unveil a sauna donated to Fire Station LAX 80 in gratitude for their service during the Palisades fires. The purchase was made possible by a Rotary District 5280 grant.

Kick Off the New Rotary Year with Rotaract South Bay!

Join us for our first meeting of the 2026-2027 year on Thursday, August 20th at 7 pm.

We’ll be celebrating the end of summer hiatus with pizza, ice cream, and a preview of all the exciting service projects and events we have planned for the upcoming year. We will have pizza and ice cream provided for all attendees!

We are excited to co-host a blood drive this summer to support communities in need! Blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.

Please join us on Tuesday, August 18th, from 12 noon to 5 pm at the Gardena-Carson Family YMCA.

Today, our Vice President Christina and club member Josh volunteered and attended the Healing Hearts & Minds community wellness and resource fair! What an amazing opportunity to gather with our community during Mental Health Awareness Month. Community members were able to enjoy aroma therapy, arts and crafts, yoga, a dance class, a boxing class, community tables, tacos and much more! Special thank you to the Rotary Club for Mental Health and Wellness, Richstone Family Center, and Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Sunset for hosting such a wonderful event.

We recently had the honor of hosting our second Vocational Grant Scholarship dinner in partnership with , celebrating four outstanding awardees from LA Trade Tech. Each student received a $1,625 scholarship to support their continuing education. It was an honor to support these trade students and listen as they shared their personal journeys and goals for their futures.

Did you know the average foster child moves 14 times, often carrying their life in a trash bag? Today, our club members worked to change that at the 4th annual Foster the Love event!

Our members decorated and packed custom duffel bags with comfort essentials including blankets, bears, and hygiene kits. They also built bikes and skateboards to bring back a little extra childhood joy!

Our club is already looking forward to next year’s event!

Our March social was a success! We walked nearly 8 miles from Redondo Beach Pier to Manhattan Beach Pier and back, stopping for a coffee and brunch pick-me-up along the way. Thank you to everyone who joined us! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming April events!
