Hello to you all. This year has been very unusual. In keeping with that USA Softball of So-Cal is offering virtual clinic attendance without first registering as an USA umpire. The clinic link is listed below. There clinic fee is only $20. Remember, if you want to work championship play in the summer of 2021, you must attend one of the clinics listed as one of the steps to certify. If you are a coach, the knowledge you gain through the clinic will help you effectively communicate with umpires on the field. You do not have to register as an umpire, just an attendee. So, all you H. S. umpire who are looking for additional training without the expense of registration fees for an organization, this is for you. (Yes, some rules are different, but not that many). I am trying to track registered attendees, so when you have signed up let me know so I can document on my excel file.

Remember, to be a certified official you must attend an Annual Umpire Clinic offered by USA Softball of Southern California. The Virtual Annual Umpire Clinic will be delivered through Zoom. Please make sure you have the technology to participate in one of the clinics.

Slow Pitch Umpires: January 10, 2021 or January 23, 2021
Fast Pitch Umpires: December 13, 2020 or January 9, 2021 or January 30, 2021
Youth and 1st Year Umpires: January 17, 2021 or January 31, 2021
