How was this already a week ago?!

Still thinking about all of the beautiful mothers we had the joy of celebrating 💕

Sandpipers had the honor of celebrating 25 soon-to-be mamas at our Day of Service Baby Shower, surrounding them with love, calm moments, and thoughtful touches throughout the day.

In partnership with the Wilmington Community Resource Center—an incredible organization providing free fitness classes, wellness programs, food support, and health resources—we created a space that felt warm, supportive, and full of joy.

Huge thank you to our amazing sponsors for the adorable baby toys, and to Misa Los Angeles for the stunning gifts for each mama. Wishing all of these amazing mothers a very happy Mother’s Day. We celebrate you today and always 💫

Oh baby! Sandpipers embraced 25 soon-to-be mamas with gentle love at our Day of Service Baby Shower.

Partnering with Wilmington Community Resource Center, which supports families through free fitness classes, health resources, food assistance, and wellness programs, our volunteers created cozy setups, shared quiet moments and hugs with the glowing mamas, and spread calm joy throughout.

Our Sandpipers had such a meaningful Day of Service at Mychal’s Learning Place, and we loved every minute of it. From painting planters and walls to planting vegetables, herbs, and flowers, and building outdoor furniture, we came together to help brighten and beautify a truly special community space. 🌿💛

A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors, Southern California Tree & Landscaping, Loll Designs, Anonymous Donors, and DS Property Management, for helping make this project possible. We’re also so grateful to Daniece Lahoud, Irana Gomez, and Mardi Norman for their leadership in planning and organizing such an incredible event, and to our amazing volunteers whose support and energy brought it all to life.

Mychal’s Learning Place continues to create a safe, loving space where youth and young adults with developmental disabilities can grow, build independence, and pursue their dreams. We’re honored to support their mission and be part of something so meaningful. Every act matters. 💙

Sandpipers members are all in for Jimmy Miller Foundation Ocean Therapy, tackling beach support like hydration stations, snacks, lunches, and gear organization.

We lift up at-risk youth, wounded warriors, veterans, and first responders facing mental and physical challenges through adaptive surfing at Manhattan Beach that rebuilds confidence and self-esteem via the ocean's healing rhythm. Shore cheers, board rinses, and steady support create those game-changing moments of strength and joy. Every act matters, as Sandpipers rides waves of hope with South Bay's bravest.
