California Native Plant Society - South Coast Chapter

California Native Plant Society - South Coast Chapter The South Coast Chapter is one of 33 chapters of the California Native Plant Society.

The mission of CNPS is to conserve California native plants and their natural habitats, and increase understanding, appreciation, and horticultural use of native plants. The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants. The Society, working through its local chapters and statewide pr

ograms, seeks to increase understanding of California's native flora and to preserve this rich resource for future generations. In addition to a history of advocacy for conservation and restoration of open space, our chapter has a strong horticultural base. Our chapter encompasses South Los Angeles County, ranging from LAX in the north, Long Beach in the south, and to Whittier in the east.
