South Bay Village

South Bay Village South Bay Village provides services to its members to enable them to age in place in their own homes, while enjoying their familiar community.

South Bay Village is a helping hand for seniors. With the help of an all-volunteer staff, we enable our members to remain in their own homes. Our volunteers can provide transportation to doctor's appointments, the grocery store, the senior center, local shops and businesses, and even to visit friends. They can assist with tasks including minor home repairs, dog and cat care, trimming rose bushes,

watering plants, etc. They are also available simply to spend quality time with members by playing board and card games, doing puzzles, watching a movie, reading a book or just having a good old-fashioned chat! This program can be a great help members' families, who are busy with their own families, and cannot always be there for everything mom or dad might need. Being able to get assistance with the many tasks a parent might need allows adult children to focus on enjoying their time with their parents, free from worrying about everyday tasks that need to be done.
