🚨 **URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR PEBBLES!** 🚨
**WITHOUT A FOSTER, WE CANNOT BRING HIM TO SAFETY.**

💙 Meet **Pebbles** 💙

Pebbles is a **6-year-old, 51-pound Pitbull mix** with a personality as unforgettable as his giant block head! This blue-and-white handsome boy is short, sturdy, absolutely adorable, and completely one-of-a-kind.

Just look at that face! And those front legs? That charming little stance is part of what makes Pebbles, well... **Pebbles.** 🥹💙

But right now, this sweet boy needs something much more important than a great photo.

**He needs a foster home.**

Pebbles is currently sitting at **Balch Springs Animal Shelter (BSAS)** in Texas, and Golden Years Haven wants to bring him to safety. **We have a place for him, but we cannot bring him without a committed foster.**

• Heartworm positive, but **already treated** and simply needs his follow-up test

Fostering means giving Pebbles a safe place to land while we take care of the rescue side of things. You provide the couch, love, food, and companionship. **We provide the support and help him get the second chance he deserves.**

Toto is currently the LONGEST-STAY DOG at Operation Kindness, and we desperately want to get her out of the shelter and headed to a northern partner.
❤️ BUT WE CANNOT SAVE TOTO WITHOUT A FOSTER.
Toto has incidental Mega-E, but please don't let that diagnosis scare you away. Her needs are manageable! She needs small meals served from an elevated food bowl, and she does NOT require a Mega-E chair.
And Toto has plenty to say about life outside her medical chart!
🐾 She LOVES playing with male dogs in playgroups.
🐾 She tolerates female dogs.
🐾 She has gone on several Doggy Day Out adventures with volunteers, and everyone absolutely loves her.
🐾 She has spent lots of time in the shelter lobby greeting guests and charming everyone who walks through the door.
Toto has personality. Toto has fans. Toto has people rooting for her.
What Toto doesn't have is the one thing standing between her and freedom:

She has been waiting and waiting, and we don't want her to spend another day being the longest-stay dog.

🚨 **WE CANNOT SAVE DIESEL WITHOUT A FOSTER!** 🚨

💙 **Meet Diesel | 7 Years Old** 💙
📍 Currently at Glen Rose Shelter

Diesel has been waiting at the shelter since **June 1st**. That is a long time for a dog who should be spending his days stretched out on a comfy bed instead of waiting behind kennel doors.

And now, **we have an opportunity to save him... but we need a foster.**

Diesel is a **7-year-old sweetheart** who has shown us that he has so much to offer.

🐾 **Dog friendly**
🐾 Calm and independent
🐾 Walks well on leash
🐾 Not timid or fearful
🐾 Rides well in the car
🐾 Gets along with other dogs
🐾 Still gets around well despite his age

Diesel recently went on a Doggy Day Out with Emmy, and the two of them rode together in the car without a problem. He was calm, easygoing, and happy to just take in the world around him.

He originally showed up as a stray on someone's property, so we don't know much about his life before the shelter. But what we do know is that **Diesel is not giving up.**

He has been waiting.
He has been overlooked.
And now he needs someone willing to say:

**"I'll give you a chance."** ❤️

We cannot bring Diesel into rescue without a foster committed to giving him a safe place to land.

Here are some of the faces of our beloved dogs that are available to adopt into amazing homes right now!!!
We understand that some people may not want to apply to adopt a dog and you may find it intrusive, but we do it with a reason. Every soul that comes into The Minnis Sanctuary is loved, deeply! We care what their futures look like and not every person is able and willing to make sure that they get healthcare and spoiled to the point of forgetting things they’ve gone through.
We have a whole community here of people unable to adopt or foster, but are rooting for these babies, and celebrating along with us when they get adopted and find their forever homes! We need you folks EXTRA right now, because these lovebugs are so very deserving of being adopted and for whatever reasons, they are still here waiting. So whip out those fast thumbs, and get ready to share this post to help us(heck to help them)find their people!

Thank you Joanie and Buddy Bonino for the blankets. Josie picked hers out! Of course it is the one covered in unicorns! She is beyond precious!Thank you to Darlene Temple and Olivia Sullivan for helping me so much. I could not do this without you. Also thank you Karen Ludwig for the garage sale donations. We are excited to have Lila Mussomeli volunteering with us. She is an amazing addition and its only her first day! I met Chris Hickman today and he, his ama,ing wife Sarah and 2 daughters are going to be helping us too! I am so happy I'm crying! It really does take a village!
