Take a look up at the Topsfield Common today, because you’re going to see something beautiful: the Tri-Town Pride Parade banner is officially UP for the full month of June! 🤘🏼✨

To anyone passing by, this might look like a simple piece of vinyl. But to us, it represents five years of relentless advocacy, tough conversations, community education, and refusing to back down.

This is a massive win for visibility, safety, and inclusion in our towns. 🥹❤️

A mountain of gratitude goes out to every single member of our team who cares about the LGBTQIA+ community in the Tri-Town. Thank you for showing up, speaking up, and doing the heavy lifting to prove that love lives here.

Next time you drive or walk past the Common, take a second to look up, take a picture, and celebrate how far we’ve come together.

We are here. We are proud. And we aren't going anywhere. Happy Pride Month, Tri-Town! 🌈🥳

Pride has always been about community, solidarity, and looking out for one another. This year, we want to put that care into direct action. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

Let's be real: everything is getting more expensive, and times are genuinely tough for so many of our neighbors. That’s why we are partnering with the Acord Food Pantry for a community food drive right at the Tri-Town Pride Celebration on Sunday, June 7th!

If you are able, please bring a non-perishable food item to donate when you come to the Topsfield Common. 🛒✨

No donation is too small. A single can of soup, a box of pasta, or a jar of peanut butter makes a massive difference when we all show up together. Let’s pack the donation bins and show what community care truly looks like in action.

Swipe through to see a list of the pantry's most-needed items, and drop a 🥫 in the comments if you're adding this to your Pride checklist!

Love wins in Gloucester today. 🏳️‍🌈
Grateful for local change makers, people who use their voices, and leaders that listen.

Many more pictures and videos of today's wonderful flag raising and the party at DRIFT Gloucester that followed, but as the sun fully sets on a day that started out (like last night) in a very challenging and dispiriting way, this image showing what appeared in the eastern sky as we celebrated the start of Cape Ann Pride and today's outcome on the rainbow crosswalk just demands to be posted quickly.

A huge, huge THANK YOU to everyone who turned out today in such large numbers, with such passion and respect, and all who raised their voices through social media posts, emails, and phone calls since last night.

YOU MADE THIS CHANGE OF HEART HAPPEN!

That's what Pride is all about, right?

And, thanks to the Mayor for being willing to be called in, showing that not only CAN leaders change their minds, they MUST be able to.

He made a promise to all citizens of Gloucester today that the crosswalk will be repainted in June; we made a promise in front of him and all of you to make sure that happens, and to work in a creative and collaborative spirit with the Mayor's office and the City Council to make sure we never have to be back in this situation again.

You did your part so wonderfully. We'll do our part. If you'd like to be part of that process and dialogue and research, please email us at [email protected] so we can coordinate effectively. We'll get this done.

That's a rainbow promise. Happy Pride!
