Heritage University is celebrating 40 years of the Bounty of the Valley Scholarship Dinner and Paddle Raise - the university's signature fundraiser supporting student scholarships. As Heritage marks this milestone, we invite you to meet the woman who started it all: Virginia Hislop, who turns 107 this June. In this special interview, Virginia reflects on four decades of Bounty of the Valley and the impact scholarships continue to have on student lives.

The Early Learning Center (ELC) is celebrating a major achievement in its commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

As part of Washington State’s Early Achievers program, which evaluates childcare programs and awards quality ratings from Levels 1–5, the ELC recently completed its quality recognition cycle. While the center set a goal of earning a Level 4 rating, it exceeded expectations by achieving the highest possible distinction: Level 5.

The accomplishment reflects the dedication and hard work of the ELC team in creating an exceptional learning environment for children and families.
