Thank you, Southwest Rotary of Yakima for supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the Yakama Nation!

Southwest Rotary was proud to present OIC of Washington with a $10,000 check to support the new Boys & Girls Club in partnership with the Yakama Nation.

As many of you know, our club and community have been hard at work preparing and painting the space. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Paint Smith and Sherwin-Williams, those costs were covered, allowing the full $10,000 to go directly toward additional facility updates.

We are grateful to be part of bringing this important space to life for local youth.

Boys & Girls Club of Yakama Nation’s 2026 WA State Youth of the Year finalist is Helen S. They are a junior in high school and are very active in clubs both in school and at their local Boys & Girls Club—like being co-president of the Yakama Youth Council and co-chair of the Yakama Nation Keystone Club. Helen takes the performing arts to heart and does acting, theatre, band, and choir.
