This has to be my favorite photo from today at Seney National Wildlife Refuge. This is my old friend...AT...he was hatched and band on the Refuge in 2003 by Common Coast Research & Conservation. In 2020 he lost his mate to another and spent his time alone. I was able to get close to him, talking to him and capturing many amazing moments with him. The next year he found a mate and they are still together. Praying they have a successful nest...as soon as they settle on a site.
