Wichita Public Schools needs to get back to work and back to the table with United Teachers of Wichita.

Supply these educators with more than lip service.

Planning time and equitable pay are both necessary as well as basic needs for educators and workers everywhere across this state and nation. It’s honestly not that hard and frankly it’s a bad look to pull something like this.

It’s also not too hard to see how much the multiple administrators make compared to your educators - yet here we are. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Chronic understaffing is a direct threat to job safety. We need the and KS State Agencies to fund immediate and long-term solutions NOW, before anyone else gets hurt.

A patient attack at Larned State Hospital last month was just one of a string of incidents that have quietly occurred at the facility in recent weeks.

Staffing shortages at KDOC facilities are the worst they've ever been. The Agency and the must act now to fix these problems.

There are more than 400 uniformed vacancies at Kansas Department of Corrections prisons. The worker shortage means corrections officers taking on tons of overtime and inmates are locked in their cells for long stretches.
