Now Accepting Candidates for the Position of Kansas Disciples Men’s Coordinator

The Christian Church in Kansas (Disciples of Christ) seeks candidates for the position of Kansas Disciples Men’s Coordinator. The Disciples Men’s Coordinator provides leadership, program development and ministry support for Disciples men throughout the Christian Church in Kansas. This position works closely with the Kansas Disciples Men’s Cabinet, local congregations and regional staff to strengthen men’s ministry as a vital expression of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Qualified candidates will have proven leadership experience within the faith community, organizational and planning experience, familiarity with basic financial concepts and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to attend various meetings and events (in-person and/or online) and travel within the Kansas region is required. Travel expenses are reimbursed.
This is a contract position that is funded by the Kansas Disciples Men’s ministry and the region. Interested candidates should contact Mary Muncy, Personnel Chair, at [email protected] or 901-606-4251.

Good morning, Kansas Disciples:

I want to thank everyone who joined us at Belmont Blvd. Christian Church this weekend for the regional assembly! It was a wonderful time of learning fellowship, and joyful worship.

Many people asked about sharing the keynote with their congregation. So, I am happy to report the Rev. Dr Powe’s presentation will be up on the website within the next few days. The slides are already there. If you have any questions please contact the regional office.

Also, your regional staff is taking today off! We will see you tomorrow!

Setup day has arrived!

All the staff and volunteers are making their way to Belmont Boulevard Christian Church - Disciples of Christ today to prepare the space for the 2026 Kansas Regional Assembly happening TOMORROW!

Doors will open at 7:45AM with the Opening worship beginning at 9:00AM.

We are eager to greet everyone and welcome them for this special day.
