Our service dogs can help you with:
✔️ Behavior Interruption: Interrupting and redirecting negative or harmful behaviors by nudging, pawing, or using other gentle interventions.
✔️ Deep Pressure Therapy: Providing calming pressure by l
ying on or against the individual during moments of sensory overload or emotional distress.
✔️ Safety Monitoring: Ensuring the individual only crosses streets safely, with training to stop at all crossings and check for hazards.
✔️ Leash Guidance and Attachment: Keeping the individual safe in public spaces by using a tether or leash system that attaches them to the dog, preventing wandering or bolting.
✔️ Social Buffering: Acting as a social buffer in public or unfamiliar situations to reduce anxiety and help the individual feel more secure.
✔️ Emotional Support: Offering constant companionship, reducing feelings of anxiety and loneliness, and providing emotional stability.
✔️ Crisis Intervention: Recognizing signs of emotional distress or panic attacks and responding in ways that help mitigate the crisis.
✔️ Routine Structuring: Assisting in establishing and maintaining a daily routine, beneficial for individuals who struggle with organization.
✔️ Item Retrieval: Fetching items that are out of reach or dropped, aiding those with mobility or coordination difficulties.
✔️ Mobility Assistance: Providing support for those with balance or mobility issues, helping to stabilize them as they walk or navigate changes in terrain.
✔️ Nighttime Assistance: Responding to emergencies or providing comfort during nighttime disturbances such as nightmares.
✔️ Enhancing Social Interactions: Helping the individual engage more actively in social interactions and reducing barriers to communication.
