(JEO Consulting Group) will walk through how they rebuilt and reopened Bridge 126.7 near Emporia after the April 18 strike to the steel superstructure — the decision-making, the coordination, the pressure, and the partnerships that made rapid reconstruction possible.

Join us next week for our upcoming Membership Meeting featuring Shannon Moore, P.E., Engineering Program Manager with the Kansas Turnpike Authority, and Shawn Schwensen, P.E., Structural Senior Project Manager with JEO Consulting Group.

They will walk through the rapid response and reconstruction of Bridge 126.7 near Emporia following the April 18 strike to the steel superstructure. In just 16 weeks, the bridge was rebuilt and reopened to full traffic through close coordination among contractors, designers, owners, and partners.
