https://www.militaryveteranproject.org/22adaymovement.html Founded in 2012, by war widow Melissa Jarboe to carry on the dying wish of her husband SSG Jamie Jarboe, the Military Veteran Project (MVP) a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity is on a mission to prevent military su***de through education, training, and community-based action. We believe su***de prevention begins long before a c

risis. With awareness. With communities that know how to recognize struggle and respond with compassion. We focus on prevention — equipping communities, strengthening protective factors, and ensuring no veteran or military family feels alone.

Every day, we work to bridge the gap between military service and civilian life, ensuring veterans and their families receive the compassion, care, and resources they deserve. Our mission is rooted in the belief that our veterans are not broken, they are assets to our communities. Their compassion, integrity, leadership, and dedication strengthen the very fabric of our nation.

Today Team MVP joined thousands of cyclists in the Flint Hills for Unbound Gravel.

Like military service, the road wasn’t always easy. It required grit, determination, and the courage to keep moving forward.

Proud of every rider who showed up, embraced the challenge and crossed the finish line.

One mile at a time. One mission at a time.

The Green Star Service Banner was intentionally created to honor families of Veterans lost to su***de, families carrying a loss often connected to the invisible wounds of war and mental health struggles.

The Green Star represents:
💚 Recognition for families too often left unseen

The meaning behind the Green Star was created with purpose from the very beginning. No family should feel invisible.

Please follow our friends, support their work at GREEN STAR Families of America

Thank You, Bridges PBT! 🇺🇸 for joining the Military Veteran Project’s Flags for the Fallen / Flags Forward™ initiative this Memorial Day.

Your team’s commitment to honoring the fallen helped contribute to a nationwide effort that resulted in 22,842 flags placed across the country in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Every flag represented a name.
Every name represented a story.
Every story deserved to be remembered.

Thank you for helping honor the fallen and carry their memory forward.

Honor the Fallen. Uniting the Living. Inspiring the Next Generation.

Healing does not look the same for everyone.

For some healing looks like therapy.

For others it looks like the gym, a long walk, volunteering, faith, conversation,
community, or asking for help and direction.

Sometimes healing is laughter again.

Sometimes it is surviving the day.

At the Military Veteran Project, we believe healing begins when people feel seen, supported, and connected.

There is no perfect path forward.

Only the courage to keep taking the next step and we will be here for you every step of the way.

His memory will live on through me.
