‼️Attention friends and supporters of Top Teer‼️
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of our volunteer non-profit organization. After three years of dedicated service, we have reached a capacity that we cannot exceed. As of today, April 4, 2023, Top Teer is no longer operating as a nonprofit in the city of Topeka.
But let us not dwell on the closure, for we have achieved so much during our time of operation. We are proud to have raised the bar for volunteerism and to have made a real difference in the lives of those in need. With the help of our incredible team of volunteers, partners, and friends, we have provided vital assistance to nonprofit and for-profit organizations in our community. We have inspired others to join us in our mission and have worked tirelessly to make our community a better place.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers, supporters, and partners who have stood by us throughout the years. Your dedication and commitment to our cause have been truly inspiring, and we could not have achieved what we have without you.
As Marjorie Moore once said, "Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in." We are proud to have been a part of helping create that community.
While the closure of our nonprofit is bittersweet, we are confident that the legacy of Top Teer will live on in the hearts and minds of those who have worked with us and those who have been impacted by our efforts. We will be making a donation to one of our most dedicated partners, the United Way of Kaw Valley. Thank you for being a part of our journey. Our last event was helping with the Irish Club with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 18, 2023.
We love you, Topeka!!!!
