Tonight, while going through my Facebook notifications, I saw where this page has a couple of notices. After taking care of them, I started to look at all of the entries that have been posted, along with the photos. I'm not sure when I became involved with Phoenix Assembly, but I'm sure it was about 15 years ago. Down through those years I've had to privilege of being Assembly Dad and State Dad twice. Young people have always been foremost in my concerns and protection. No one will ever hurt one of "my kids" no matter how old or young they are. Many of the young ladies pictured in the postings have gone on to higher education, careers, families of their own, but they still remain close to my heart.
Life is very fickle as most people know. Bad times, however, don't last forever. Good times can be good, or they can be great. However, most of the time life is simply mediocre. It's how we choose to handle it that really is the key to happiness in our lives.
There are a lot of happy memories for me in the photos here. I am just so proud that I had the opportunity to share them with all of you. Some of you have very loving families. Others do not. I always felt that my role in life was to be that person that anyone could talk to me about anything, no matter how good or bad it was. I'm just so happy that many of you have remained Facebook friends all these years.
I wish you all the best in life, love, and happiness. You have made my life much happier by allowing me to be a part of yours.
Until we meet again, the best to you always. Dad Tom
