The Kansas Pharmacists Association (KPhA) was established in 1880 and represents Kansas Pharmacists. It is one of the oldest statewide professional associations of pharmacists in the country. KPhA has a long and proud history of representing Pharmacists of all practice settings in Kansas. It is the voice of pharmacy when it comes to legislative and regulatory issues before Kansas governmental officials. Pharmacy Professionals: Make Your Voice Heard Tuesday Night!

Pharmacists, technicians, students, and pharmacy owners: you’re invited to meet Insurance Commissioner Candidate Dinah Sykes on Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 PM.

The Insurance Commissioner’s office shapes many of the issues we deal with every day: PBM oversight, reimbursement practices, prior authorizations, and patient access to affordable medications. This is a chance to share what you see behind the counter, ask questions, and help decision-makers understand how insurance policy affects our patients and our profession.

You don’t need to be an expert in policy. Your everyday experience is exactly what’s needed. Bring your stories, your questions, and a colleague!

📅 Tuesday, October 13th
🕖 7:00 PM
📍ZOOM-message or call the office for the link!

Let’s show up for pharmacy and for our patients. We hope to see you there!

Happy Women Pharmacist Day! 💊👩‍⚕️

Today, the Kansas Pharmacists Association celebrates the women pharmacists who care for patients across our state every day.

From community pharmacies in small towns to hospitals, clinics, long-term care, academia, and industry, women pharmacists answer patients’ questions, catch medication problems before they cause harm, give vaccines, and keep Kansans healthy. Many also lead, mentor, and push our profession forward.

To every woman pharmacist in Kansas: thank you for your expertise, your compassion, and your commitment to your patients and communities. 💙

Know a woman pharmacist who has made a difference? Tag her below and tell us why she inspires you! 👇
