Team Kitten

We’re excited to announce that this Sunday, we're teaming up with the ASPCA and joining to help more animals find homes with fee waived adoptions. From 1-4pm at PetCo on October 25th you’ll be able to meet many of our adorable kittens and discover your newest family member(s) at our ASPCA Rescue Project Fee Waived Event!

Check out our website for more details and instructions on submitting a quick and free application to be pre-qualified for the event. It not only speeds up the process but allows our adoption team to find you the best match. 🥰

All kittens come with a free month’s worth of food and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Each one is raised and socialized in a loving foster home. We'll have kittens currently listed and others making their debut at the event.

Kittens for Adoption from Team Kitten, a foster based rescue out of Topeka, KS. All kittens are fixed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccines before adoption.

We have 3️⃣4️⃣ kittens up ready for adoption! That's nearly half of all the kittens in our care. Consider adding one (or two) of these cuties to your family this fall 🍁 They'll make the best cuddle buddies as the cool weather sets in. Each adoption opens up space for us to take in new at-risk kittens.

To apply and learn more about all of our adoptable kittens visit our site at https://teamkitten.org/adoptable-cats/

Many of our kittens are fostered with dogs, other cats, kids and even a handheld pet or two! Our adoptions team can help find the perfect match for any household.

🎉 Our 1,500th Adoption! 🎉

Since our founding in late 2023, Team Kitten has placed 1,500 felines in their forever homes! It’s an incredible milestone that we never could have dreamed of when starting this rescue. Thank you to everyone who’s followed along and supported us on this journey. Our wonderful community and hard working team of fosters and volunteers make milestones like this possible ❤️

Our 1,500th adoption was nothing short of adorable. Willa and her siblings came to us from a colony in Scranton. Now instead of battling to survive outdoors, she has a future with nothing but love and comfort to look forward to.

From the adopter:

Grey was so surprised! She cried happy tears and has been the best cat mom. They curled up together last night and fell asleep. She’s already so loved.

We're running low on toys! The over 640 felines we've already taken in during 2026 have really burnt through our stash. Not to mention the 87 kittens currently in our care who're chewing on crinkle balls as we speak. The little trouble makers, and their fosters, would love some new toys and enrichment items to keep them busy as the cool weather approaches.

You can purchase toys, and other necessities, off of our Amazon Wishlist: https://tinyurl.com/yv2skz5n

Want to help in other ways? Consider volunteering and making a difference for local felines. You don't need to live in Topeka! We welcome volunteers from surrounding counties and areas 😁

We are so grateful to those of you who donated to Langston’s care last month!

From being found in the country with two broken back legs (most likely hit by a car) - to a beloved healthy cat in one of our foster homes, Langston has showed us the true meaning of unconditional love and gratitude.

After an adjustment period, he blossomed into a social butterfly in foster! He enjoys hugging his people, hanging out with the resident dog and the other cats and foster kittens in the house. Despite all he’s been through, Langston is the gentlest boy who never swats or hisses.

He’s in the home stretch now as we await his next set of Xrays. Fingers crossed they show that he’s ready to find his forever home! He’d be a wonderful nursing home or bookstore cat - somewhere he can share his gentle love with as many people as possible. If you or someone you know would be a good fit, send them our way!
