Aspire Foundation is proud to have sponsored the volleyball/mentoring camp at St. Augustine Muruto Comprehensive School in Nandi County. Aspire supplied volleyball balls, nets and some food stuffs . There were approximately 80 youth in attendance . The youth received volleyball training as well as attending mentoring sessions.
A very special thanks go out to Mr. Henry Rotich for inviting Aspire Foundation to be sponsors in this camp.
We are also thankful to our daughter Ruth for collecting the equipment and for Edinah’ sister Fiphian and brother in-law for transporting these items to the school. They each also spoke to the participants during a mentoring session .
This is one of our Foundation’s main goals to not only develop new volleyball talent but to also mentor the youth.

While in Kenya we had the privilege of visiting the 42 House Kiprun training facilities . Amos Kimutai manages this facility and we truly enjoyed touring through it. As you can see the location is awesome as well.
Amos has been instrumental in our activities at Aspire Foundation and we appreciate that very much.

Happy Easter to Joan and we wish her the very best at the upcoming Nationals.

This is a brief recap of the volleyball sports camp that we helped sponsor. This camp ended up being much bigger than we anticipated which we were very excited about. Several of these youth received scholarships to attend high schools that have very strong volleyball programs. Academics were also stressed. If their grades are poor they won’t be on the team. I think that balance is important. Edinah and I want to thank all the staff and coaches who made this camp a success. Without you guys this would not have happened. We look forward to making this an annual event so we are already planning for next year.
Because next year will be even bigger than this year we are reaching out for donations to help us make the next camp even better . Sports can be life changing to youth so we hope you will help us make a difference in these kids lives.
Special thanks to our daughter Ruth for putting this video presentation together for us.
