Sugar Works Adventure Park

A big thank-you to the Ecobods, for spending time with us at Sugar Works Adventure Park!

The group volunteered to help clear out honeysuckle, and we’re grateful for the hard work they put into caring for our woods!

We also got to have some fun together on a few of our course elements! It was a great time filled with teamwork, laughter, and a little adventure.

We even made a few new animal friends along the way! Take a look through the pictures to see who we found.

Thank you, Ecobods, for lending a hand and sharing such a fun day with us!

A huge thank you to Mission Valley 6th graders for spending the day with us at Sugar Works Adventure Park!

We had a great time watching everyone work together, take on new challenges, encourage one another, and step outside their comfort zones. We hope you had just as much fun as we did!

Thank you to all of the students, teachers, and parents who helped make this day possible. We loved having you at Sugar Works and hope to see you again!

🍄 Forest Find of the Day!

Check out this bright red mushroom we spotted here at Sugar Works Adventure Park! With its glossy red cap, white stem, and white gills, it appears to belong to the Russula group of mushrooms — a large group known for their colorful caps and often brittle texture.

Mushrooms like this are more than just something interesting to find on the forest floor. Fungi play an important role in healthy forests by helping break down organic material and, in many cases, forming relationships with nearby trees.

One of our favorite parts of spending time outdoors is slowing down enough to notice all the little things growing around us. You never know what you’ll find!

Have you ever spotted a bright red mushroom like this before?

⚠️ Remember: Never eat a wild mushroom based solely on appearance or a photo identification.

👏 A BIG THANK YOU to Thomas Ball and his amazing crew!!
Sugar Works Adventure Park at The Villages, Inc was honored to be chosen for Thomas Ball’s Eagle Scout service project, an important step toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout. As part of the project, Thomas demonstrated leadership by organizing and leading a group of fellow Scouts, family, and friends who worked together to spread mulch throughout the park and around our course elements.

We are so grateful to Thomas for choosing Sugar Works and for the time, leadership, and hard work he and his team gave to our park. Their efforts will make a difference for all the youth and groups who enjoy Sugar Works throughout the year! Thank you Thomas, and everyone who came out to support his project! 🌿💚👏

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of adventure ahead at Sugar Works.

As the temperatures begin to cool and the forest starts making its transition into fall, it’s one of our favorite times of year to be outside. Before long, this green canopy will start changing colors and the course will have a completely different look.

Whether you’re planning a team-building day, bringing out a group, or just looking for a reason to spend some time outdoors, fall is a great time to experience Sugar Works Adventure Park.

We’re looking forward to everything this next season brings.

For one short moment, nothing else in the world matters.

It’s just you, the climb, and the decision to trust yourself and take the leap. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that make everything else disappear for a little while.

Come experience the Power Pole at Sugar Works Adventure Park.
