💙 We were honored to join Governor Laura Kelly for the signing of a proclamation recognizing FASD Awareness Day in Kansas!
Thank you, Governor Kelly, for recognizing the nearly 150,000 Kansans living with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and for helping bring greater awareness to this often invisible disability.

FASD affects individuals and families across our state, and awareness is an important step toward greater understanding, earlier support, and better outcomes. 🧠💙

If you or someone you love is affected by FASD and you are looking for support, resources, or connection, please reach out to Dream Acres FASD Community, FASD United or the Kansas FASD Support Network. You are not alone.

Together, we can make the invisible visible. 💙

🌱 WE GOT $100,000! 🌱

A dream we've been working toward for years is finally becoming a reality!

Dream Acres FASD Community has been awarded a $100,000 Lowe's Community Impact Grant to help bring our Greenhouse & Aquaponics Project to life! 💚
And this project is about so much more than growing food.
It’s about growing:
🌱 Confidence
🌱 Independence
🌱 Job skills
🌱 Purpose
🌱 Opportunity
Our residents—adults living with FASD and other brain-based disabilities—will have hands-on opportunities to learn horticulture, aquaponics, agriculture, food production, business operations, and more.

We are incredibly grateful to Lowe’s for believing in this dream and investing in the possibilities of our residents.

We can't wait to watch this dream grow! 🌱🐟

Follow along as we bring it to life—and stay tuned for ways you can help!

Your voice belongs on Capitol Hill!

Real change happens when people show up.

During Hill Day, you'll meet face-to-face with congressional offices to advocate for the full implementation of the FASD Respect Act and greater awareness of FASD. Together, we've already changed federal policy. Now it's time to build on that momentum.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference, this is your opportunity.
