One Can One Kid would like to first thank our community for your continued support it has truly been amazing. We want to take a moment to share with you all some huge wins.

With the support from you all we were able to recycle 10,000 pounds of cans in 2025. We were able to adopt for families for Christmas, feed more families for Thanksgiving, and establish 1-2 more scholarships for the 2026 graduating class. We were also able to put the finishing touches on our website and we are pleased to share it with you all. We have another custom cooler raffle starting in April 2026 and details will be available next week.

Good morning family and friends,

I'm sure everyone has being watching the events in the world right now and how a lot of people are being affected. One Can One Kid has collaborated with Dillons for a food drive to assist with feeding some people in our community in need. Please stop by your local Dillons store as they have items selected for the drive. They have made it easy you just purchase and we will handle getting it to the food panty. In the event you have some non perishable food items that you wish to donate and are not a Dillons customer you can drop those items off a Blue Dot here is Topeka located at 3365 SW Gage Blvd.

We want to thank Blue Dot and Dillons for their continued support in our mission to give back to our community and of course we thank all of you for your unwavering continued support.

I need everyone's help. Someone who shall remainder anonymous(Nichole Miller) tried to out do me and sold 20 tickets in a day. Well of course I accepted the challenge and now I have to sale 21 today. I need you all to help me out. I'm sure none of yall want to see me cry but I will. She is walking around looking at me all funny(maybe in my mind but I know what she's thinking)haha. Please come out and support Topeka BBQ Shop for their customer appreciation day. One Can One Kid is honor to have partnered up with the coordinating team at the Feista Topeka 2025. We were allowed to set up 6 recycling bins to help in collection of aluminum cans. If you venture over to The Feista this year place place your aluminum cans in the recycle bins with the blue lids and have the One Can One Kid logo on them. We have 3 located by the beer garage area with the main stage and 3 located by the beer garden by the second stage. We appreciate the partnership and thank you for your support. We also thank you all in advance for your support of depositing your cans while enjoying the festivities.

One Can One Kid is pleased to announce that registration for our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament is now open. If you haven't had an opportunity to play in our tournament please register as it is an incredible tournament for a great cause. Through our golf tournament and collection of recycled cans of well over 30,000 pounds we have had been able to give back to those in our community in huge ways such as scholorships, feeding families, adopting families, along with many other ways we get involved. We want to that all of our supporters, sponsors, donors and volunteers for your unwavering love and support. We ask that you all continue to spread the word and keep saving your aluminum cans and aluminum bottles. We are committed to "being the difference"!

One Can One Kid is honored and exited to announce that we had the privilege of honoring 4 more amazing soon to be graduates with scholarships for the next chapter in their lives and based off of the essays they submitted for the scholarship a bright future awaits them all with huge plans to give back to their community.

We truly want to thank you all for saving your aluminum beverage or refreshment cans and aluminum bottles as we continue to grow we are blessed to be able to do more in our community.

One Can One Kid has some exciting things happening right now. We partnered up with Sole Reason for a fun family time to celebrate our children in the our community at Children's Fest 4-19-25 from 1pm-7pm, we have our Scholarships in May to present to the Class of 2025, our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament in September and our website coming soon. We thank you all for the continued support and love. It has truly been amazing.

As I mentioned we are putting on a huge Children's Fest and to raise funds we are having a raffle. I know we have been stuck inside for a while and what better way to break out than with a new Weber 22" Smoker, 2 bags of wood chunks, 2 delicious rubs, a $100 gift card to Dillons, and a delicious tasting bourbon whiskey. Whether you are a novice or a neophyte to the grill or smoked meat world this is raffle is sure to make cooking time a treat. One Can One Kid would like to thank Dillons for an amazing partnership in regards to the food and product drive we hosted in October. We were able to provide 1336lbs of food and product to fill some shelves in time for the holidays. We want to first thank all of the customers that purchased extra food and product for the drive and all of those who dropped off food and product to our drop off point Pat Plumbing, Heating and Air. You all are very appreciated and we sincerely thank you. I personally want to say a huge thank you to Nichole Miller, Mike Munoz, Heather Muñoz, Robbie Garcia and Amanda Garcia for spreading the word on the food and product drive. We have a super strong team and we are looking forward to more giving back to our communities.
