Thank you to everyone that came out for our tulip sale. Your support is greatly appreciated. For better or worse we have plenty left over. Please come and help yourself to any dug tulips. They are around the Fillmore parking lot. Please consider dropping a donation in as you leave. There are donation boxes by the Clay gate or under the arbor entering the garden. Anything left by Monday will
Probably go to a compost pile so we would rather give them away then throw them away.

Thank you to everyone that came to the dedication of Curt’s observation deck today. If you couldn’t make it come when you can and enjoy the fantastic work of our volunteers and Shawnee County staff. Our Asian Garden hasn’t looked better. And bring a quarter or two so you can keep our koi fat and sassy.

Please join us this Friday as we honor the legacy of a long time volunteer and supporter of our site.

We are a go for tomorrow night. Thanks to everyone that has worked so hard, from Shawnee County employees and volunteers that have spent the past several days clearing the debris, to our utility workers that just today restored electricity to the site.

We may be a CASH ONLY event, simply because the internet has yet to be restored. Maybe it will be by tomorrow night, maybe not. All we can do is ask for folks' understanding.

We hope to you tomorrow for a good old-fashioned good time.

Thanks to our volunteers who spent a few hours today getting the main floor of the mansion all shiny and clean smelling. Our volunteers giving of themselves and their time is what makes the park what it is. We think Mary would be happy to see her home being taken care of.

And that’s a wrap. Thank you to everyone that came to our little event. Thank you to all the volunteers that made our event possible. Thank you to Shawnee county parks and rec for allowing us to have our event here and for all your support. Mother Nature made things interesting but we made the best of it. If you visit our park please be patient with our volunteers and staff who will be working hard to put things away over the next few days and we are already planning for 2025.
