Back to school drive for McClure elementary successfully completed ✔️ I’d like to personally thank my wife and kids for making the drop off for Dad while I was busy working and also The Assistant Principal Dr.Berry for accepting the supplies on my behalf. They were very surprised, grateful and supportive they thought the supplies were for my children at first not knowing it was being donated 🥰
I’d like to genuinely thank my community for their support! Im also considering offering incentives next year for our honor roll students 🤔 we may have to pick a random school and do a raffle for some electronic devices Nintendo switches, VR headsets etc

Well until next time family I will keep everyone informed when the next event rolls around it’s always my pleasure to serve the community any way possible!

Back in December 2020, a math teacher named Alejandro Navarro made sure his students' grades were finished before he passed away.

Navarro taught math at Del Rio Middle School in Texas and had struggled with heart problems for years. The week before Christmas his condition suddenly worsened and he was rushed to the hospital, where doctors found his heart was working at just 20 percent capacity.

Even from his ICU bed, Navarro kept working. He packed his laptop before heading to the emergency room and spent his time there entering his students' final grades as doctors ran tests around him. His daughter, Sandra Venegas, photographed him working from the hospital and shared it online, where it went viral after he passed away at 66.

Family said Navarro always put his students first and never wanted attention for it.
