Linda Vallejo has over forty years of experience as a non profit trainer and consultant, and an art career that spans fives decades, Linda Vallejo offers her expertise to help NPOs and individuals artists identify, achieve, and work towards their goals. Over the past fifteen years, she has served as an on-line grantwriting instructor in over 2,000 colleges and universities nationwide, Canada, Aust

ralia, and the United Kingdom. She has written and received over $30 million in grant funds from foundation, corporate, government and individual donors for her many clients nationwide. Presently she serves as a grantwriting instructor for Loyola Marymount University Extension Non-Profit Funding and Development Certificate Program. She is also a development consultant, trainer, and grantwriter for the Compton Community College District, El Camino College Compton Center, the Assistance League of America, and Pacoima Beautiful, a non-profit environmental education organization. For the past three years she has served as a visiting professor and grantwriting instructor for Otis School of Art and Design Public Practice Masters Program in Los Angeles, California. Vallejo began her work in the non-profit sector as an artist and art teacher with Self Help Graphics, a non profit arts organization located in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and is a practicing, professional artist exhibiting her art nationally and internationally. She has been awarded the Quien es Quien in U.S. Commerce National Award, Distinguished Recognition Award from the National Association Chicano Studies, Latinas Making History Award from Comision Feminil de Los Angeles, and was acknowledged as an Outstanding Young Woman of America.

!! ARTIST RESIDENCY OPPORTUNITY !! Teton Art Lab invites applications for 2026 Uncommon Artist residency - Deadline: November 1, 2025.

Founded in 2008, the Teton Art Lab supports exceptional artists by creating new work through artist residencies and presents exhibitions, concerts, films, talks, workshops, and demonstrations by artists worldwide. There is a $25 application fee.

The organization invites applications for the 2026 Uncommon Artist residency at the Anvil Hotel, next to Grand Teton National Park in Jackson, Wyoming. Each resident will receive one to three weeks of complimentary accommodations at the hotel, a $200/week cash stipend, and $200 in dining credits at Glorietta Trattoria, the hotel’s onsite Italian restaurant.

Artists can access nearby shared studio spaces for ceramics, printmaking, photography, and more at the Center for the Arts, but no private space is currently available. In exchange, the artist is asked to offer an artist talk and/or demonstration open to the public.
