Our annual CVMA 49-5 Poker Run is September 12th!

The money we raise goes directly toward supporting veterans in our local community. Recently, that’s meant building wheelchair ramps for disabled veterans in Tooele and installing flagpoles and flags to recognize those who deserve it.

We’re looking for a few more veterans to honor with a flagpole. Know someone? Drop us a message or nominate them below.

The money helps us do the work, but showing up matters too. Sometimes a ride, a handshake, or simply knowing there’s a community behind you means just as much.

September 12th | Pins & Ales, Tooele
Registration 10:30 AM | KSU Noon
$25 per bike

Come ride with us or visit our raffle table and support local veterans.

Happy 250th America, From the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA).

If you are a veteran who like riding motorcycles, the CVMA® might be for you.

Who is CVMA®?
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. We sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.

Our membership is comprised of Full Members (those with verified combat service), Supporter Members (those who have non-combat military service and have a strong dedication to helping veterans), and Auxiliary Members (Spouses of both Full and Support members). We have members from all 50 states and numerous countries abroad, including combat areas.

Please note that we are an ASSOCIATION and NOT a MOTORCYCLE CLUB (MC). Although we may be in a geographic area, we do not claim territory. We do not have a club house. The patch on our back is one piece.

This Memorial day, should you see a vet offering up a toast while alone....they aren't alone.....

05/25/2026

Please, Don't say Happy Memorial Day or thank me for my service. This day is not for me, but for my Brothers and Sisters we lost.

On Memorial Day, it's generally considered inappropriate to say "Happy Memorial Day" as the holiday is meant for remembrance and honoring those who died in service, not for celebration. It's also best to avoid thanking current service members, as Memorial Day is about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice, while Veterans Day acknowledges all veterans.

Instead of "Happy Memorial Day," you could say "Have a meaningful Memorial Day," or "I hope you're having a thoughtful day," or "We remember the fallen"...
