This month’s Living Waters Intl update shares the story of our first Medical and Dental Camp at the orphan feeding center in Kenya. Over just a few days, children and families received medical care, dental treatment, and vision testing, many for the very first time.

We are grateful for every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this possible. Thank you for continuing to be part of this mission of love in action.

It was all hands on deck today at the Living Waters feeding center. The roofers replaced the old metal roof with a new roof that won’t leak when it rains. The Living Waters staff cooked and served lunch for 160 boys and girls and 20 adults. The children washed the dishes. After lunch the Living Waters’ workers did a deep cleaning on the inside of the guest house. At the end of the day the roof is almost finished, the house is clean, and we’re all tired but happy. After 20 years, our big water tank had burst. Without water nothing else could be done.  So that was the first item on the agenda at the Living Waters feeding center. Daryl arrived Thursday evening and the workers started early Friday. By the end of the day the tank was in place and we now have water again! Feeling thankful.

Mission accomplished! The water purifier is installed and is now purifying water at the mission in Bolivia. The local team is trained on running it as well as setting up the individual family water purifiers.
Daryl begins his trip home tonight. We are grateful for what has been accomplished.
Lauren got to the mission last night at midnight after unexpected delays and then crossing flooded rivers in the dark. Unfortunately the individual water purifiers she brought did not arrive with her and she is working with the airline to locate them. Thank you for your prayers and support.
