This photo may look like a colorful work of art, but it’s actually what happens when soap, water, and a little bit of magic team up to make your vehicle shine!

Stop by “Dad & Sons Car Wash” across the Clown Motel on Main Street to remove the desert dust and bugs.

Our Executive Director Kat spent the week in Las Vegas for the Nevada Arts Council “Intersections” conference and took the opportunity to visit with the wonderful team of Main Street Boulder City ! The ladies definitely supported the local small businesses while checking out downtown improvements, new EarthPlanter planters, banners, and murals.

Meeting in Tonopah on June 24th.

✨ June is shaping up to be a busy month for the Nevada Department of Business and Industry as staff travel across the state to connect with communities, industries, and businesses throughout Nevada.

🚗 Over the coming weeks, the Nevada Department of Business and Industry will be participating in community events, industry conversations, and the Department’s Rural Road Trip taking place June 22–24 in Ely, Elko, Winnemucca, Fallon, and Tonopah.

📈 In early June, Director Dr. Kristopher Sanchez and Department staff will also attend the Eureka Grant Summit (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/eureka-grant-summit-tickets-1981242217807?msockid=13ac4d291d7162c1217e5b8e1c566311), where community leaders, businesses, state agencies, and industry representatives will gather to discuss economic development, workforce opportunities, housing, mining, and rural growth in Nevada.

🏢 Throughout the month, the Nevada Means Business Podcast will continue highlighting the industries, businesses, and issues important to communities across Nevada and the people helping shape the state’s economy and future. 👩‍💼 🧑‍🏭 From workforce development and housing to mining, transportation, and small business resources, these conversations and events reflect the Department’s ongoing commitment to connecting with communities across the state and supporting Nevada’s businesses, workers, and industries.

🤩 We look forward to meeting with communities across rural Nevada, sharing resources, and hearing directly from residents, businesses, and local stakeholders during this year’s Rural Road Trip.

✌ Additional information and updates will be shared throughout June.
