Team Tongie "Many times you don’t need a miracle, you just need each other." Team Tongie assists families fac Team Tongie began and is still going strong.

It began in March 2009, when two high school students in Tonganoxie, Kansas, faced very serious medical issues. A few weeks later, a third student passed away suddenly due to a health issue. It became the way for Tonganoxie residents to pull together, help their neighbors and do whatever they could to help these families through trying times. Team Tongie provides funds to families facing serious h

ealth and medical issues, and also partners with other community organizations to provide assistance. Assistance is used for transportation to doctor appointments and treatments, paying for medication, and helping with other day-to-day expenses while a family member is ill or unable to work. To date, more than $181,000 has been given to Tonganoxie residents and families. Team Tongie is proud to share that we are a United Way agency. To make a donation, please make checks payable to:
