Some of Meredith's favorite memories involve her coaches. She will always remember the Titans Team loud and fun cheer with Coach Tim before the meets. She will also never forget Coach Tim whistling while she swam down the lane.
During a trip to Greensboro, Meredith was not expecting to make finals so they booked an early evening flight home. Meredith did make finals and almost missed her plane. Once off the podium, Meredith, her mom and Coach Scott made a quick exit! Meredith went through airport security in her wet tech suit and squeaky crocs and was even padded down by TSA because she kept setting off the alarm. In the end, they made their flight home to Buffalo.
Throughout her years with the Titans, she has learned to be brave and resilience and is thankful to be surrounded by people who loved her through the hardest moments of her life. As she continues through life, Meredith will carry every lesson, every memory, every joy and every bit of Titan love the team has gifted her.
Meredith never imagined not swimming her senior year with the Titans. She would like to thank everyone for being with her during the hardest trial of her life. The Titan love and support carried her and her family during her liver transplant journey.
Meredith will be majoring in Elementary Education at Fairfield University.
Meredith, your last year did not go quite as planned, but the entire Titan family is so thankful that you are here with us and that you will continue your swimming career in college. We wish you the best of luck in your next adventure!
