The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. It's all about the boy you are and the person you will become. Cub Scout Pack 556 meets 3 Tuesdays a month in the Glendale cafetorium from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. You DO NOT need to be a Glendale student in order to join this pack. Our main focus is teamwork skills and friendship. We do a lot of great activities such as the Pinewood Derby, campouts, swimming, Zoo Snooze, Halloween and Holiday parties, Regatta Boat Race, a fossil dig and of course the annual Blue & Gold dinner.
