Meet Maple and Willow, two tiny sisters in the care of Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue, who are just beginning to discover the world around them 💛🐈

Born August 4, 2026, these little girls are growing, exploring, and showing off their own sweet personalities while they wait for their forever homes.

🧡 Maple is an orange-and-white sweetheart weighing just 2.5 pounds. She's brave, curious, and ready to investigate whatever catches her eye.

🤎 Willow is a beautiful calico tabby weighing only 2.1 pounds. She's gentle and expressive, with a little face that tells a story all its own.

For now, their days are filled with safe naps, playful kitten moments, and all the little discoveries that come with growing up. They're getting the care they need and have a safe place to land while they prepare for their next chapter.

Both kittens are receiving their initial vaccinations, dewormer, and flea treatments. Adoption applications are being accepted so they can head to their forever homes as soon as they're ready.

Could you be the one to give Maple or Willow a lifetime of cozy naps, playful days, and unconditional love? Or maybe these sisters will get lucky enough to grow up together.

⭐️ This post is shared courtesy of Fur ever Yours, which has Maple and Willow in its care. TOAR is not responsible for their adoption process. If you're interested in adopting either kitten, please contact Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue directly.

HOME TO HOME: Meet Helen! (Tonasket, WA)

Born 6/28/26, this sweet little girl is looking for a loving home of her own. Helen is a small mixed breed puppy with a big heart. She is both blind and deaf, but don't let that fool you. She experiences the world in her own special way and can feel vibrations to help her navigate her surroundings.

Helen's dad is a Beagle/Chihuahua mix weighing about 23 pounds, and her mom is a Shih Tzu mix weighing about 18 pounds. We expect Helen to remain a small dog when fully grown. Current weight is about 6 lbs

Helen has never left her owner's property. She is an intact female and has not yet received vaccinations or veterinary care.

Helen will need a patient, committed family willing to help her learn and thrive. Special needs dogs are incredibly rewarding companions, and Helen deserves a chance to experience all the love and happiness a family can provide.

Please note: The close-up photo is an older picture of Helen when she was about 3 months old. The photo showing two dogs is a picture of her parents.

Home to Home Program: Helen is not in the care of Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue. She is being posted as a courtesy through our Home to Home program. The Home to Home program helps connect pet owners who need to rehome their pets directly with potential adopters. Pets remain with their current owners until a new home is found, helping reduce stress on the animal while preserving valuable rescue space for pets with nowhere else to go.

Interested? Send us a DM and we'll connect you directly with Helen's owner.

Please share to help this special girl find the loving home she deserves. ❤️🐾

How did you spend your weekend? This was mine. 🐄🌾🐾
Down here in rural Okanogan County, Washington, you learn to expect the unexpected. Running errands or doing daily chores means packing a vehicle full of personal dogs, rescue dogs, and sanctuary residents—only to have our 'express route' completely blockaded by a herd of cows who decided the road was the perfect spot for a meeting. 🚗🤠
This is just another few hours in our world. From managing the sanctuary and caring for the pets in our care, visiting other nonprofits (2025 clips) sharing the road with local livestock, every day is an adventure of its own.

We wouldn't trade this chaotic, beautiful rural rescue life for anything. It’s hard work, constant motion, and sometimes the cows win the road—but it’s where we belong. ❤️

Yesterday, Jazz's new life began. ❤️

Jazz came to us after losing everything he knew. Surrendered through no fault of his own due to eviction proceedings, this big chocolate Lab mix watched his world change overnight. The cats he grew up with, his small dog companions, and the home he loved were suddenly gone.

At nearly 100 pounds, Jazz may look like a strong, confident dog, but beneath that big frame is a gentle soul who simply wanted a place to belong. (Foster was able to slim him down to 95 lbs)

When our transport volunteer brought Jazz to meet his adopter, something special happened. His new owner shared:

"As soon as the driver brought Jazz into my home, I knew I couldn't let him leave my driveway."

And just like that, Jazz was home.

His new chapter in Omak started yesterday, filled with new beginnings, a family of his own, and the stability he has been searching for. After all the uncertainty, this sweet boy finally has a place where he can exhale, settle in, and be loved.

Thank you to our rescue partners, fosters, local vet clinics, and volunteers who helped make this happy ending possible. It truly takes a village to change a life, and because of all of you, Jazz's future is looking brighter than ever.

Happy tails, Jazz. We couldn't be happier for you.

Want to help create more happy endings like Jazz's? Please support your local shelter or rescue through adoption, fostering, volunteering, or donations. Every act of kindness helps homeless pets find the loving homes they deserve.

Update: Percy has found a Forever Home ❤️🏡

🏡 HOME TO HOME PLACEMENT 🏡

🐾 MEET PERCY! ❤️

Percy is an 11-month-old boy with big ears, a big personality, and a whole lot of growing up left to do!

At 60–70 pounds, Percy is a fun-loving, energetic youngster who loves to run, play, and be part of the action. He's affectionate, playful, and isn't shy about sharing his opinions. Yes, Percy can be a little vocal! 🐾

Unfortunately, his current home isn't the best fit for his needs. Without a fenced property, his family is finding it difficult to give him the freedom and exercise he needs to thrive. They've made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his energy and personality.

Percy isn't a bad dog. He's a young dog who still has some learning to do!

He knows "sit," is mostly housebroken, and does well with teenagers. He can get a little overexcited and jump up on people, so a home without small children would be best.

He could also use some additional leash training, consistency, and guidance. Percy needs someone who understands that raising a young dog takes time, patience, and commitment.

❤️ A LITTLE MORE ABOUT PERCY:

🐾 11 months old Malamute/lab mix
🐾 Male, not yet neutered
🐾 Approximately 60–70 pounds
🐾 Received one DAPP puppy vaccine, according to his owner
🐾 Mostly housebroken, with occasional excitement accidents
🐾 Knows "sit"
🐾 Good with teenagers
🐾 Previously did well with other dogs when younger, but current compatibility is unknown
🐾 Unknown with cats, livestock, and chickens
🐾 Needs continued leash training and basic manners

Percy has so much potential. What he needs now is a family willing to put in the time to help him become the wonderful adult dog he's capable of being.

A fenced yard, regular exercise, and someone who enjoys an active companion would be a great start!

🏡 PLEASE NOTE: Percy is a HOME TO HOME courtesy placement. He is not in the care of a rescue. His current family is caring for him while looking for the right home.

❤️ Interested in meeting Percy?

Send Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue or Okanogan County Everything Dogs a private message, and we'll help connect you directly with his owner.

And if Percy isn't the right fit for your family, please SHARE his story. His perfect home might be just one share away! 🐾❤️

🚨 CODE RED: FOSTER FAIL IN PROGRESS! 🚨

Meet William: 10 months old, 8 lbs of Chiweenie perfection, and officially the dangerous kind of foster dog because EVERYONE WHO TOUCHES HIM WANTS TO KEEP HIM. 😂

His current foster dad is failing badly. Our backup foster took one look at him and is already tempting fate. If we don't find William his true forever family ASAP, our foster network is going to lose two amazing fosters in one week!

William's Resume:

🐾 10 months old & 8 lbs of pure sweetness

🐾 Dog-friendly, crate-trained, and the ultimate lap cuddle-bug

🐾 Perfect little dude energy from head to tail

Can you relate to the struggle of trying NOT to foster fail? Save our foster program and apply to adopt William today!

Matching the fall foliage on spa day! 🍂🐾

Driving past the golden aspens today and realized our sanctuary boy Miguel blends right into the autumn scenery! 🍁

We’ve had sweet Miguel for over a year now. Outside our yard, he still gets overwhelmed—he won't walk on a leash and immediately "pancakes" on the ground when he's scared. His big, beautiful eyes tell you everything about how sensitive his heart is. 🥺❤️

But today was spa day, and thanks to Kindra of Dirty Paws Grooming who has known him for a over a year and takes all the extra time he needs, he got his bath and nail trim with so much patience and care.

Sometimes people forget that not every rescue dog is destined for a standard adoptive home—and that's okay. Some dogs are meant for sanctuary, where they can just be without any pressure to be brave before they're ready. 🏡

Do you have a shy or fearful rescue who takes things at their own pace? Drop a 🍁 or share your story in the comments!
