🕯️ With survivors, always.
On October 7, Ocean Partnership for Children gathered for our 7th Annual Domestic Violence Vigil, a time to honor the lives impacted by domestic violence, remember those we have lost, and stand in solidarity with victims and survivors.
 
This vigil was more than a gathering. It was a reminder that behind every statistic is a person, a story, and a life deserving of safety, dignity, and peace. It was an opportunity to hold space for those whose voices have been silenced, recognize the strength it takes to survive, and reaffirm our commitment to supporting those impacted by domestic violence.
 
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our speakers for sharing their voices, to everyone who attended in remembrance and solidarity, and to all who donated personal care items benefiting 180 Turning Lives Around and Providence House. Thank you to the OPC staff who helped make this meaningful evening possible, led by Maureen DeSantis, Director of Care Management.
 
To every victim and survivor: you are seen, you are heard, and you are not alone. May we continue to listen, believe, advocate, and create a world where everyone can live free from fear and abuse. 💜

🍂✨ Fall is here, and OPC’s Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) has exciting workshop and group offerings coming up! All groups are FREE and open to youth in Ocean County who meet the age requirements! All workshops and groups below are held at the OPC Office (36 Washington St. Toms River, NJ).

Thank you to everyone who joined us on September 24 for our Masquerade Murder Mystery & Silent Auction! We are so grateful you chose to spend the evening supporting Ocean Partnership for Children and the youth and families we serve throughout Ocean County. 💙 Dare to Care Recap! 💙
Last week, OPC brought the community together for our Dare to Care event in honor of Su***de Prevention Month. We connected with students at Toms River High School South and the Downtown Toms River community to promote su***de awareness, share resources, and spread messages of hope and support.

A special thank you to NJ4S Compass Ocean County, Preferred Behavioral Health Group, Ocean County Mobile Response, Ocean County Family Support Organization, and Toms River Artist Community for collaborating with us and helping make this event possible. Together, we’re reminding our community that support is strength and every connection matters. 💙
