Remember when Daniel Rodrick ran for Mayor in 2023 claiming he would *stand up to overdevelopment*?

That promise lasted exactly until Election Day.

Last week, the **Toms River Planning Board** approved yet **another major development** — **150 townhouse and apartment units** at the intersection of **Clayton Avenue and Route 9 in North Dover**.

Let’s be clear:
🔹 The Planning Board is **appointed by Mayor Daniel Rodrick**. Members include: Kim Pascarella, James Braaten, Bob Watson, Geri Ambrosio and MAYOR DANIEL RODRICK!
🔹 Every major development application since he took office has been **approved**
🔹 Open space is disappearing
🔹 Traffic is increasing
🔹 Infrastructure is strained
🔹 Residents were promised something very different

The approved plan includes:
• **150 total units**
• **30 units designated for low- and moderate-income renters**
• A **22-acre site** previously cleared for another large project that was never built!

This is not “controlled growth.”
This is **unchecked development — exactly what Rodrick campaigned against.**

While residents asked for transparency, accountability, and protection of our neighborhoods…
**Rodrick’s Planning Board keeps saying YES to developers.**

**Build Baby Build.**
That’s the real motto of this administration.

Toms River deserves leadership that keeps its promises — not one that sells out our community after getting elected.

After investigations and interviews we have confirmed that the administrator for this page is...wait...

MAYOR DANIEL RODRICK OF TOMS RIVER TOWNSHIP!!

When Rodrick flipped from Democrat to Republican in 2018, he locked out others in the Democrat party from this Facebook account and after years of trying, Real Toms River Democrats gave up their fight with Facebook who said "removing the page violates their terms of service" so Daniel Rodrick remains the administrator of this site.

If you are in disbelief, ask him tonight at the Toms River Township Council meeting, or email [email protected] who too has administrator rights to the page.

The fight to remove Daniel Rodrick as Mayor of Toms River is a non-partisan fight for the betterment of Toms River. Think about it, who else but Daniel Rodrick would seek to divide a town!

Last night at the Republicans for Toms River meeting former Councilman James Quinlisk quoted Thomas Jefferson when referring speaking of this afraid to sign the petition to Recall Daniel Rodrick.

“When the people fear the government, that's tyranny; when the government fears the people, that's freedom.”

On the Agenda tomorrow night, January 14 at 6:30PM, the Toms River Council will consider a resolution to reopen the Toms River Animal Shelter and terminate the shared services agreement with Ocean County Board of Health.

In 2024 Rodrick’s puppet Council approved an Ordinance to transfer the facility and operation to Ocean County Board of Health, but the voters of Toms River successfully protested the Ordinance through petition forcing the Council to rescind its decision. Eventually Rodrick closed the shelter and directed his puppet Council to perform an end around and do a shared service resolution, that stands today, but Ocean County Board of Health has not reopened. Then and now OC Board of Health has said they have no interest in the Shelter, but of Rodrick won’t open it, we have no choice as it is needed.

Not sure of the plans by Council but WE THE PEOPLE saved the day in 2024 to reach this day in 2026! Come out to the meeting to support the Council Members following through on promises!!

The count is in and the good news is we are confident we have 14,186 verified signatures! The bad news is about 1,000 signatures we had counted prior could not be verified, either due to poor penmenship, incorrect voter registration address or names did not match. We also had some non-Toms River voters sign the petition, we appreciate our friends in Manchester and Berkeley with Toms River mailing addresses, but you don’t vote in Toms River. Those that we believe we can contact and get signed we will, otherwise, the clock on the website says 10 days, 2 hours till January 23 at 4PM.

Disappointed but we still have time and with Daniel Rodrick ready to fight Toms River Police Department Promotions tomorrow night and possibly the reopening of the Toms River Animal Shelter, people believe Rodrick MUST go!

Toms River is the 8th largest municipality in New Jersey.
And right now, over 15,000 REGISTERED TOMS RIVER VOTERS have signed a petition to RECALL MAYOR DANIEL RODRICK — already more signatures than the votes he received to get elected.

With only 12 DAYS LEFT to reach 18,464 verified signatures, more than 350 volunteers are out every day collecting signatures to force a Special Recall Election.

This is one of the largest grassroots recall efforts in NJ municipal history.
