Yes that is BeBe, our permanent resident cat, making her dance debut. Ever since we bought her a piano and gave her piano lessons, she has been angling for dance lessons. I have told her repeatedly that there aren't dance studios that cater to cats. Well, this morning she took matters into her own paws. Unbeknownst to me, she "crashed" a class at Saucys Studio - our next door neighbor. We are so grateful to Sam, the incredible owner of Saucys, and to all the students who took the presence of a dancing cat in stride, until we could come reclaim her. Life will never be the same now that she knows there ARE dance studios that welcome cats!

PURRS. We are so happy that even the humans are purring. An amazing adopter welcomed our long term resident sweetheart pair, Amelia and Cobbler, into her home and heart. She "fell for" Amelia and when she learned that Cobby had a special relationship with Amelia, she without hesitation invited him home too.
Now she is patiently enjoying them from a distance as they decompress and come to feel comfortable in her home.
ps. the photo is of our pair at the Center. They aren't yet up to a photo shoot in their new digs. Updates will follow.

Ashley - the owner of Pure Toms River Yoga outdid herself today , leading a super fun star wars themed class that delighted children, adults and cats alike. As you can see, our tux, BeBe has gotten so proficient at yoga that she was granted her very own purple mat while our Tiger Ford played rear guard lending support and encouragment to one of our star young participants. Many, many thanks to Pure for all the fun and for donating the proceeds to support the LIDA Cats.

Many thanks to all who visited and enjoyed our cats today. All the playing and indulging in treats tuckered out our felines. They are now illustrating the art of cat napping which they are true masters of. We hope to do it all again during tomorrow's open hrs.
