LIDARescue Cat Adoption Welcomes ( back) Johnny Boy
This 3.5 yr. old male has journeyed from home to home since leaving us in 2023 . Cicumstances just got in the way of permanency. We promised him we would get it right this time. Pictured below - Sweet , handsome ( well, of course, he IS a cat) and deciding whether to once again make the leap into a new family. Would be ok with another cat and just fine as a solo.

Want an obedient cat? ( yes, they do exist ) Keep scrolling. Ms. Indigo thinks No means Yes and Don't means - Please Do. But this fearless cat is so full of fun that noone can bear to scold her impishness. Sporting her munchkin stature and Cheetah markings she does as she pleases - and we can't help but smile.

EDITED PHOTO ALERT
Ms. Maya expressed extreme displeasure with her debut photo. She claims that it is unbecoming for a cat to be photographed in a carrier. One thing I have learned - arguing with a cat is a losing proposition . So we redid her photo shoot. She is now happily posing as the Kitty Cab driver.

Welcome Maya. Maya arrived last week and is enjoying the happy chaos of the adoption center. Starting to play and dancing around like the little sprite she is but if you catch her she will warm up quickly. Small, young adult ( believed to be the sister to Mog who went home several weeks back).
Come meet Maya and all her friends to be at the LIDA Adoption Center.

PURRS FOR CODY, JOSIE, BONES AND FLUFFY
We have been on an unanticipated and unappreciated internet hiatus. But we are Baaack and here to report that we spent our time productively. Purrs for Cody and Josie who each now have a family to call their own. And double purrs for Bones and Fluffy, 2 seven yr olds, who we took in on an emergency basis and who are now slowly adapting to their adopter's home.

Stop dipping your toes in the water and take the plunge - invite a cat to join your family. We have two cats that must be moved from their current situation by month's end. But our current cats have removed the welcome mat. They say that two of them must be adopted first - it's only fair.
Submit your adoption application this weekend and if approved you will receive ( in addition to our normal send off package) a month's supply of Churro ( 24 sticks) - and 1/2 off the adoption fee.
So don't wait. Cannonball, dive, jump ....take the Adoption plunge. You will improve your life and help save a cat.

WELCOME CODY
This big headed boy landed at the Center yesterday. It appears that he had a bit of a rough life before rescue intervened.
He's hasn't been with us 24 hrs but what we know so far:
Male, young adult, - large head , has opinions about being in yet another new place and he is not hesitant about expressing them. Loves catnip . Loves food. Loves people. Very, very, quirky tail which can only be appreciated in person . So come meet Cody
and all his fellow feline housemates :
