The Nook took time today to show appreciation for its volunteers and supporters. Without them, we could not have served 2297 people in the first half of the year, as well as 750 pets. It is their commitment to nourishing our neighbors that allows us to continue our mission. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you 🫂💕

💙 Rising costs. Real impact.

When the cost of food, fuel, and everyday essentials goes up, food pantries feel it too. At The Nook, those rising costs mean stretching every dollar further while more individuals and families in our community are reaching out for support.

But this is also where our community makes a difference. Every donation, food drive, volunteer hour, and shared post helps us keep our shelves stocked and hope within reach.

Together, we can make sure our neighbors know they have somewhere to turn. 💙

Today was a wonderful day off Exit 63 as more than a hundred providers and stakeholders gathered to collaborate and brainstorm new ways to address food insecurity in Southern Ocean County.
A very special thank you to Fulfill and the Grunin Foundation for inviting The Nook Ocean County NJ and Salt Bridge Farm from Bright Harbor Healthcare to convene at this summit. We look forward to growing our partnerships in the community.
