On Monday, 3/23, The Nook will proudly welcome a resource connection specialist from Fulfill. They will be on-site to assist clients determine eligibility and to apply for SNAP and Medicaid benefits.

Interested applicants should bring the following:
• social security numbers of household members
• information regarding household incomes and monthly expenses
• immigration status documentation

Beautiful things can happen when community partners work together ❤️ In collaboration with Donovan Catholic High School, Troopers United Foundation Inc., Wakefern Food Corp. and New Jersey State Police, The Nook was chosen as a proud recipient of 5 palettes of donations. The Nook Coordinator is a Griffin, and can't thank Vice Principal Gleinig, Tpr Stallworth and Tpr Cruz enough for facilitating this incredible gift - as well as our fellow Griffins 🦅 for contributing so generously to the supply drive 🙂 And as always, tremendous thanks to our volunteers without whom these items would not have been processed.

Bright Harbor Healthcare The Union Market & Gallery Each Stitch Counts Bright Harbor Foundation

🦃❤️Just days before Thanksgiving, families from southern Ocean County lined up outside The Union Market & Gallery in Tuckerton — and walked away with full holiday dinners and a little more hope.

The Nook of Ocean County brought its mission south, teaming up with the Wingman Foundation, Each Stitch Counts and Stop & Shop to make sure neighbors didn’t have to choose between gas in the tank or food on the table. In one day, 125 Thanksgiving meals were distributed between Tuckerton and The Nook’s headquarters in Toms River.
