A total of 23 boxes of donations have flowed in so far to sort, and we are updating our list again today!
Thank you ALL so much—truly, from the top to the bottom of our hearts. ❤📦
Having helped with Operation Cookie Drop annually since 2021, being able to watch that tradition transition and grow through Military Support Alliance of NJ into pouring even MORE love into each single service member this year is absolutely amazing!
This mission hits even closer to home for us personally, too. With our two sons in the Coast Guard—single, stationed on opposite sides of the U.S. map, and both on duty over the holidays—these stockings mean the world to us.
We get the privilege of loving on another family’s son or daughter who can’t be home this year, with the quiet hope that wherever our boys are, a caring community is loving on them, too.
— Shane & Brandi
While it’s wonderful to remember those deployed overseas, please don’t forget the young, single service members right here in our own backyard. For many, this is their very first holiday away from home, and they are feeling it!
Holidays in the military dorms/barracks can be lonely, but together, our community has the power to change that.
Through our MSA-NJ C.O.R.P.S. initiative, Military Support Alliance of NJ—with amazing support from The Spouses of JB MDL Org Thrift Store Inc.—is on a mission to fill 800 stockings for single service members living in the dorms at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL). Because “single service member” should never mean forgotten! 🎄✨
