Tomball Lions Club (TBLC) 01/23/26
Speaker PDG Lisa Free Martin - Guest speaker at the Tomball Lions Club meeting on Friday, January 23rd, will be Lion Lisa Free-Martin who will discuss the Lions District 2-S2 ALERT Program.
Past District Governor Lisa Free-Martin became a Lion in 1994 with the Magnolia Lions Club, proudly following in the footsteps of her father, Lion Donald Free, as a second-generation Lion. Since joining, she has served her home club in every capacity and was honored with the Lion of the Year Award for her dedication and leadership.
Lisa served two years as the District 2-S2 Elected Camp Director, earning the prestigious 100% Director Award—one of the honors she is most proud to have earned. She went on to serve as District Governor for District 2-S2 in 2021–2022, as well as Vice Council Chair closing out her year with over 100 net new members in her district. Following her DG term, PDG Lisa dedicated three years as the MD-2 Global Leadership Team Coordinator, helping develop and support Lions leaders across multiple districts.
She is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, a Progressive Jack Wiech Fellow, and a Life Member of Texas Lions Camp. In addition, she has been recognized by Lions Clubs International with International Presidents Certificates and Medals for her outstanding service and leadership
Lisa has been married for 18 years to Lion Bob Martin, who currently serves as Second Vice District Governor for District 2-S2. Together they share a beautiful family of seven children, nineteen and a half grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
When she isn’t serving Lions, Lisa can often be found deer hunting or tending to her vegetable garden—two passions that reflect her love of nature, hard work, and providing for those she loves.
The Tomball Lions Club meets on the 4th Friday of the month from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM in the Banquet Room at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill, 1025 Alma St. in Tomball. Visitors are always welcome and invited to join our Club and "serve the Tomball Community".
